Dispersal Order authorised for Primrose Hill this weekend

Dear Resident,

In response to recent anti-social behaviour in Primrose Hill Park, a Section 35 Dispersal Order has been authorised by Inspector Conneely and will be in force from 7pm today until 6.59pm on Sunday (the total duration cannot exceed 48 hours from when it was first given). This power enables officers and PCSOs to direct individuals to leave the designated area and not return for up to 48 hours.. Failure to comply without reasonable excuse is a criminal offence, which can result in arrest and prosecution. Please see Dispersal Area map below..

If you witness anti-social behaviour, crime, disorder or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, please report it via 101, or 999 in an emergency. When reporting an incident, please advise the call handler that a Section 35 Dispersal Order is in place under CAD 1539/7AUG26. The operator may not also be initially aware that amplified noise within the Parks is a statutory offence and should be reported to police rather than the council.

I would also like to apologise to anyone who attended Primrose Hill café on Sunday 2nd August in expectation of meeting officers. Due to both officers being unwell, they were unable to attend. We will, however, be at the Primrose Hill café tomorrow, 8th August, between noon and 1pm, should anyone wish to come and speak to us.
